Life of a Red Mage

CG... sucks. Honestly. Justin & I were in there for like 2 days, the events are constant and there is NO free time. Like, zero. No time to play with the puppy, so time to go swimming, no time to do fun stuff on game or off game. Jink and I are thinking about leaving, trying to get into another shell before we drop pearls. Neither one of us has had our CG pearl on for a couple of days... hectic shells like that are NOT for me anymore!!

In puppy news, this is our adorable little pooper - Sparky!



Well, when he was about 9-10 weeks old at least. He's a little bigger now, and he's lost near all of his puppy coat. He's a brilliant and shiny white + red Pembroke Welsh Corgi now!!! He's biting nearly everything in sight now though. He clawed the wallpaper off in the bathroom... chewed on a table, nips at our heels/toes... ahhhhh!! Puppies are cute but they hurt! Those puppy teeethhh hurrt! SO SHARP! Owieeeeeeeeeee ;_____;

Actually I've been playing FFXI again for about uhhh 2-3 months now since my break to finish college up. Justin & I were in a shell called Ossum Possums together, which we both really enjoyed, but when sackholders wanted to merge with another group named Toysrus... I declined and we joined a shell named FatChocoboGordo!

Yesterday was very busy for us! Not only did Sparky keep biting at our toes, but we killed Adamantoise, Nidhogg, Dark Ixion and King Vinegaroon! Unfortunately Aces's Helm did not drop for me (/cryyyyy) but I'll camp again tonight. Maybe it will drop this time!! ^_^! I am just happy FCG actually fights KV, been in so many that either don't want to fight him, or don't help people. I used to not like camping HNM, but since I am living with Justin now (hurray!) I do not mind it at all! This game is so much more fun when you are playing with another person IRL. Reminds me of the days I had a lot of IRL friends playing in Chris' basement for hours on end. Good times!!

Today after Justin gets off of work we are going out to Orange Park to go window shopping and to make Sparky a vet appointment on Thursday. He needs his next set of shots, of which I am not looking forward to paying for! :( He's so cute, so I GUESS he's worth it!! Haha.

Well I'm fighting Cerberus at the moment, I guess I should go back and pay attention!

I totally splurged and bought some of this fabric off of ebay today. My Lolita fashion has gotten the best of me, and even though it's so expensive to enter this fashion, I'm going to do it! I'll do whatever it takes! I'm just so tired of wearing jeans, t-shirts everyday. It's just not as elegant, and it's way too casual. I'm tired of it!

and OMG when I was on the Baby, the Stars Shine Bright, I found that there was a shop in Paris, France! I told mommy that we are totally going at the end of May. I talked to Justin too, and he said it was ok if I bought a dress or something there. I want one really baddd!!

OMG! I happened to get updated pictures of Justin & I's puppy from the breeder today! He's a Pembroke Welsh Corgi (purebred) and in these pictures he is 2 weeks and 3 days old!!







Isn't he just adorable?!?! I can't wait until May! Justin & I, and maybe my parents too? Are going to drive down to Austin to meet the breeder and play with him & his brothers & sisters a little bit! Then on June 9th I get to go pick him up for good!! I'm so excited o_o!!

Well, I have one month of college left... yes that's why I quit ffxi for two months or three months now? I don't remember how long it's been! Mostly because of how busy it's been for me. Working, studying, writing papers, doing four projects at once over the course of the semester... OH and not to mention having to deal with Ms. Kelly's evil tests, one of which I'm about to take...

Before I stopped playing, Justin & I decided to transfer back to Valefor. Yes, I know it pissed Demo off, but you know, I hate seeing negativity in linkshell chat more than anything. Guys may say, "suck it upppp" but I don't like seeing it. I can't see it everyday. Hence me not playing for a while to flush it out of my brain, and so I can concentrate on my studies.

Now I have four full weeks of classes until graduation. My grades are better than last semester's (Yay!) I get to meet the breeder & my corgi puppy the second week of May (hurrah!) AND I get to see Justin again in four weeks. Not to mention after I get back from France, I get to pick up my Corgi puppy and spend the summer with Justin's parents. This will be spectacular!^_^

Justin convinced me to come back to ffxi, so I'm playing kinda/sorta. Mostly just fishing to buy currency. I wish I could sponsor my own dynamis, but oh well. So far I'm only buying Ordelle Bronzepieces. I'm trying to finish up stage 4. I've thought about selling off my tukuku whiteshells...but I better just hold onto them. Already bought them right? hehe.

My brother is coming into town tonight! I'm so excited!! We're going to watch 12 Rounds, and then eat at J.R's in Norman! :D He's going to love it! So much cool wrestling stuff in there! Not to mention it's a great way to spend the day before Wrestlemania 25! ^_^

I finally got this awesome weaponskill!!! It's one of the best ones I have, besides Penta-Thrust for whenever a monster doesn't have particularly high defense! Not to mention it looks really cool too. So far I've done pretty decent damage on DRG with this, especially since I got this little beauty yesterday:



Honestly never thought I'd get that. But apparently anything is possible in this game.^_^ So excited that day by day my Dragoon is becoming more respectable. Been trying to obtain Askar Body/Head for a while now but to no avail. Some day it will drop though!^^

Gungnir status? So far I'm only 18% complete. Ordelle Bronzepieces are really rare on Kujata, so I only have 250 of them so far for Stage 4. But, for some odd reason Tukuku Whiteshells are in abundance, not that I'm complaining or anything, and I have 1,000 of those. I talked with Rex about maybe borrowing the last 3,000 Tukuku Whiteshells needed for Stage 5 but he said he'd get back to me on that. Hopefully!! I'll just have to cross my fingers I guess.^^ At the moment I've been saving my gil to just buy Ordelle Bronzepieces whenever I can. At first I was just wanting to buy for both stages... But in all honesty I'd rather just finish up Stage 4 asap so I could say, HEY IM ON STAGE 5 OMG! haha!!!

Lu Shangs status? So much easier than relic I can tell you that much! lol! As of yesterday I hit 7,011 moat carps. I leave Lilliah in West Ronfaure and fish on her while I'm at linkshell events and such. Kinda makes me want to level fishing on her as well... hmmm....

YES!!! Finally got my Stage 3 Lance back from the NPC after a week of waiting!! Funny as it sounds, I'm actually closer to finishing Stage 5 than Stage 4, mostly because the lack of Ordelle Bronzepieces in Rolanberry/Bazaars. If push comes to shove, and we just can't find any... I'll just have to server hop a mule to buy up the rest lol.

As many people on Valefor probably know (or if you don't, now you do!) I transferred to Kujata about 2-3 weeks ago. This was due to me not being able to accomplish what I wanted to, and to just frankly get away from all the stupid drama on Valefor. Ever since then I've enjoyed myself here, just wish I had transferred sooner. I'm in the HNMLS named demo, http://www.demols.com . I changed my name from Yaeko >> Zeldaa, as you'll see in SS's. Without further ado... here's some updates on what I've been up to.

Tier 3 Cerberus in Einherjar!! I haven't been able to go to an Odin fight yet (last one I was missing a tier 2 feather) but I think in a couple days we might be going for another <_>! Hurrah! I love Einherjar. Congrats to those who went to Odin on Monday, and won stuffs!

Have fought a ton of Tiamat's since joining demo, which is a nice change from Valefor and Miku practically claiming everything. ^_^; I love Tiamat, especially when my Predator Claws do 1000+ dmg~~~!!!

Finally... finished up stage 3 of relic polearm... getting my Dynamis Lance this coming Sunday! I'm so excited!! Me & Justin are waiting a bit before buying currency for stage 4, even thinking about buying it on another server. Ordelle Bronzepieces are 9-10k each on Kujata... hopefully they might be cheaper somewhere else, but never know ;x

Did that La Vaule [S] BC fight last night. I won those Nimue's Tight's, gonna be pretty awesome for Corsair whenever mine hits 75 or so. Hopefully I'll be able to farm a popset for that BC so I can get a Supremacy Earring as well soon! Congrats to Raken & Havocxx on their new shiney earrings~!

Holy CRAP! Got 3x Gate Widows on the first floor rampart in BR! 2x Macha's Cuffs dropped, myself & Justin won them!! So nice to finally get some 35s to drop. I have nothing against the 15s we've gotten, just 35s are so rare!! ^_^ Second SS is of Aybara cursing SE for that silly Bee NM on the second floor rampart not spawning for like, the 3rd run. Stupid thing! Hopefully tomorrow we can either do LBC or move onto a new zone, SSR! Hurrah!

I was busy trying to get 75 WHM back for Dark Ixion today, and after the last campaign I did in Jugner... olook! Highest Ribbon I can get! YAY! I think the next stage is Stars... I'm so excited! ^_^ I know I'm really behind on this, but yeah! ^_^b Go me! lol^_^

Yuppers! I'm leveling fishing!! This is basically what takes up all my damn time lately. I was told you can make a pretty penny by leveling fishing, so... the fact that it's practically FREE to level, makes it all the more appealing! Not to mention I can do other things while fishing, so that makes it fun.^_^ I'm level 31 now! Looking to hit somewhere in the uppder 30's this week, hopefully! ;_;!

On another note, I've decided to take up my Gungnir relic again. Waiting until my Dell comes in to really hardcore do Avatars again... so I'm mostly focusing on leveling fishing for now, hoping it pays off down the road. Nearly done with Stage 2 now, only 41 more Tukuku Whiteshells to go! I sold off all the currency I had from before (that was so STUPID ><;!) so I'm pretty much starting all over again. Not gonna give up this time! Must finish!! \^^/

Turns out, my University shipped out my MacBook...today. W T F ! ! ! They said they were shipping it out on like, Tuesday. NOT FRIDAY. URGHHH. I'm going crazy not having my own computer. Bleh. Lol. :( Well at least I have a tracking number so I'll know when it gets here. *cries*

Soooo, my mother & I went up to Missouri over the week-end! Visited her sister Carol & her husband Greg yay! They live on a lake there, so Carol made Gred drive us around on the boat, zomg so much fun!! Pictures!!

I had asked my mom when I was like... 10yrs old if she could take me to Royals Stadium to see the fountains... I didn't care about baseball, I just wanted to see the fountains! Haha. So... finally when I'm 22 she takes me to go see them! OMG. They were gorgeous!!

So, in FFXI life... yah that's not an outdated picture! As of last ummm, Friday? Thursday? I can't remember! Garret repearled me, and I have rejoined Ultima after leaving for 9 months. I'm extremely happy, and a lot of Ultima people have said that they're very happy that I came back to the shell. I'm happy to be back too! Yay!

This is how they entered our house. We had a partially glass back door, and they threw a brick through the glass (hence why there is a brick in our kitchen). Blargh, lesson learned! Don't have too much glass...

My room. Where my old TV is... underneath is where all my systems were. Notice how theres nothing there... :( They ripped out my drawers looking at the games I had. Funny enough they only took my Wii games. Left my SNES, PS1, PS2 and NES games. Heh. Little do they know, I only own the rare PS1 + SNES games that are really hard to find. I'm not complaining!


My parent's room. Thankfully the bed is not broken, although we had to mess with it a bit in order to make it stay together still. The drawers you see pulled out are out of my mom's dresser...took nearly an hour and a half to put all her stuff back and organized...


My brother's room. His was probably the most destroyed. It was rather pointless the things they did to his room. His ps3 was underneath the desk you see that was just totally flipped over, and I guess they thought stealing his desktop PC was too much trouble, cuz it didn't even make it out the door, and neither did his monitor. What I though was odd, his 22" flatscreen TV was left on the couch in the living room. lol....

As you can prolly tell, my room was the least disturbed by the thieves. Most likely because my room was the last one they hit, and all my consoles were in plain sight, as well as my games. They couldn't have been too bright though, because they didn't take my full boxsets of Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past or Earthbound for SNES. Those easily are worth around $100+ each. Silly people. Mom got in touch with the detective on our case, seems like they have no idea where our stuff is, and the insurance company is saying we won't get compensated until mid-July... hopefully it won't be that long though.

Getting robbed sucks, hardcore....

So apparently I won't be playing any time soon. As I was driving home from work today, my mom called all frantic like. Our house got broken into, and just totally trashed. All four laptops were stolen. My Dell Inspiron 9300 and brand new macbook, and my parents laptops. Also my PS2, Wii, and SNES were stolen, along with all of my Wii games, and OoT Master Quest, since that was in my Wii. My brother's MGS4 ps3 and Halo Xbox 360 were also stolen... my dad's $1600 SeaMaster Watch, and three of my mother's cameras.

Yeah. I'm pissed. Lucky us my brother has a desktop computer. They were too lazy to get it out his door, so it was in pieces along his floor. I'll post pictures later. Took them with my phone.

So... Yeah. Good thing I'm making really good money so I can possibly replace my laptops. Just sucks. JUST got that MacBook from my University, going to see if they'll replace it, but it's not very likely.

I know, I've been gone for a month. That was basically due to me working on my cosplay costume for Project A-kon 19. Yeah, I totally redid my costume in 1 weeks time. Well, except for my shield that is, but that's only because I ran out of time. :( I'll redo that someday... just want to do another costume or two before I work on my Twilight Princess: Link costume again for the fourth time. Hehe.

Life's been pretty good I'd say. I only have a year left in college, taking summer classes that I'd say are going pretty well, and I have an internship at my dad's law firm. Kinda nervous about that because I've never had a desk job before, let alone an accounting job. Luckily my dad's boss is a really understanding, nice man, so I consider myself fortunate that I'll be learning public accounting from him.

In ffxi news... I dropped my Yojimbos pearl about 3 weeks ago? A month? It's been a while. I should have dropped it months ago, but I didn't want to leave Justin. Push comes to shove though, and I was just really unhappy... so I dropped it. Didn't want to cause a scene or anything, the last thing I want is more drama. More screenies today or tomorrow. I would have some today of my awesome day with Spundundee yesterday, but I just now figured out how to take screenshots on my macbook, since there isnt a key that you typically use to take screenshots with.

Well, I have to get going, have to finish getting ready for work. Toodles.

Other than that, in like 4 days I took my DNC from 28 >> 40. I'm thinking about leveling it to 75, but I'm not entirely sure next... It's fun and all... but yeah... DNC.... lol....
